JUNE 15 2018 – Where to begin… Another amazing day out on the water! Killer whales everywhere! In the morning we could see whales from the southern residents and J-pod! The big males “Blackberry” and “Onyx” are an impressive sight. The afternoon turned out to be something very special with a large gathering of Bigg’s killer whales socializing! We saw breaching, spy-hops and tail-slaps! Incredible! It was 6 family groups in the area, more than 20 individuals. We didn’t want to leave, absolutely stunning!
