AUGUST 11 2018 – Wow! Some days whale watching can be like winning the lottery. Today was one of those days. All tours could see both killer whales and plenty of humpback whales! We got to see some really cool behaviors too, like spy-hopping, hunting porpoises and close encounters when whales are checking out the boat! We say welcome back to the T65A’s family that returned to the area in the afternoon. They have been gone for a couple of weeks. J-pod was foraging around Salmon Bank this morning and we could see the J19’s searching for salmon. Good to see young J51 “Nova” doing well.
