OCTOBER 2 2018 – A very windy day out at sea. but even in difficult conditions we managed to find whales! In the morning we had several humpback whales around out boat, two of them were traveling together. Late in the tour we got news of killer whales further out and when we got there we had some glimpses of a pod of 6-7 animals. On the afternoon tour we had our southern resident killer whales surfing the waves out in the strait. They didn’t seem bothered by the weather and we got a very cool surfing lesson from them!
