Zodiac Skipper Mark brought his passengers all the way out to East Point in hopes of catching up with some Humpbacks that have been in the area. Mark and his passengers covered over 60 nautical miles during the three hour tour!

On the North-East side of Saturna Island the group found a pair of humpbacks. With the engines turned off and calm seas, the sound of the whales exhaling at the surface was mesmerizing. The whales even showed their flukes a few times allowing Mark to identify the whales as ‘Heather’ and ‘Raptor’. Humpbacks can be identified by the unique markings on the underside of their tails.

What a great trip!
