A great afternoon with fun people and lots of Whales. The waters are amazingly rich in life right now. This has been a December to remember.
Within 15 minuets of leaving Victoria harbor we has stopped to watch multiple groups of humpback whales surface feeding.
We spent time with a tight group of three whales as they searched the surface waters for prey. Occasional bursts of lunge feeding would breakout as the whales found a rich patch of water.
Our search continued from very calm to more adventurous waters where we encountered more whales, seals and sea birds.
