Winter Whale Watching is on! Small Groups • Warm Suits • Big Adventure

Reserve Now!

Today we were treated to the bright winter sun and a two-whale-species day on the Salish Sea! We first encountered a group of Bigg’s killer whales traveling with purpose, their tall dorsal fins cutting clean lines through the calm water. Before heading home, we crossed paths with a humpback – a powerful reminder of why we’re out here. This whale carried visible propeller scars along its back, a sign of an earlier vessel strike. Encounters like this highlight how important it is for everyone on the water to stay Whale Wise: slow down around wildlife, give whales plenty of space, and keep eyes sharp. With thoughtful choices from all mariners, we can help ensure these incredible animals stay safe in their home.
