5 6 7 8 friendly humpback whales

November 27 2016 – What another great trip!  Not one but two very friendly Humpback Whales showed up on our tour today.  We came across these two critters at Otter Point, just west of Victoria.  When we arrived on scene they were splashing their tails, sticking their noses right out of the water (spyhopping) and pec slapping those huge fins!  It may have been a wet day but the Whales didn’t care….. they were already wet!  On the way home we passed through Race Rocks Ecological Reserve to see the usual suspects – Steller and California Sea Lions and of course Harbour and Elephant Seals.  It was another exciting day on the Salish Sea.
