SEPTEMBER 27 2018 – Successful day with a triple humpbacks and a big group of Bigg’s killer whales! It was the T99’s, T35A’s and T38A’s. We started the morning heading towards Trial Island. A big flock of birds were feeding on a bait ball. In the distance we spotted a blow. It was from a humpback whale! The first individual was difficult with long dive time and soon disappear. Luckily we found three more whales traveling together. We got to see a double fluke up as two of them went for a dive! We then got news of a group of killer whales. 11 individuals in a tight group. Young ones and females.
