NOV 9 2015 – Wow what a day. Transient Killer Whales and lots of Humpbacks were seen today by our lucky guests.  The tour started with Captain Ian heading south in search of Humpbacks.  Before long they were watching 2 huge critters feeding and swimming to the surface for air.  Ian moved on to Race Rocks to show his passengers the huge (and smelly) Steller and California Sea Lions lazing on the rocks.  The water was calm, the sun was peeping through the clouds.  It was shaping up to be a great day at Sea.

Just when they thought they saw it all, Ian navigated the boat towards a group of Transient Killer Whales that had just made a kill.  He snapped some pics and told our guests all about these awesome creatures.  As the sun set, and the colours of the sky changed, the gang headed back towards Victoria where we had some yummy Hot Chocolate waiting for them.  Another successful trip day on the water with SpringTide!
