Today we encountered two orca pods on the water – the T34s and the T37s. Though presumed to be extended family, they were quite spread out! Regardless, we did manage to get some good looks at matriarch T34 Grace (b. before or in 1969 – making her at least 55 years old!) and her youngest T34B Sonder (b. 2017). An adult male not related to them, T65A3 Amir was also in the mix, primarily seen with a teenage male, T37B1 Lance. A wonderful day rounded off with some curious seals along the coast!
