Sunny Saturdays always make you smile but those with wildlife make them even better.
We cruised out in the afternoon glow and headed East out of the harbour toward Lopez Island. Proud Steller Sea Lions were enjoying the fortuitous weather hauled out on Whale Rock, South of San Juan Island. Some Sea Lions were waddling around on the rocks, one hauling itself out as we watched.
Some harbour porpoises kindly joined us for the cruise back to Victoria, bobbing around the stern. We turned off the engines and enjoyed the weather and the wildlife. A peaceful moment of reflection to end an enjoyable afternoon out on the water.
