What a beautiful day! It almost felt like summer again. The sky was clear, the winds were low and the sea was smooth and calm. We set off in the afternoon- a few of us wearing sunscreen!

We sped along in FasTide and after traveling towards William Head we came across Humpback Whales. We turned off the engine and no fewer than 10 Humpbacks made an appearance.

They were feeding and diving for deeper nutrients. We kept hearing loud blows as the Whales surfaced, and then another, and then another! It was a magnificent sight and we were all watching in awe, they are so large and yet so graceful!

We headed onward towards Race Rocks, a favourite stop of ours. As we approached we saw a vast array of Marine life catching up on their vitamin D, just like us! We headed back to SpringTide base, delighted with our adventure.
