AFTERNOON TOURS

Our Monday afternoon cruise’s departed full of energy and excitement. The sun was shining and the water was calm. This made for a very relaxing search for Whales and Wild Life. We quickly came across multiple Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whales and everyone was full of joy.

We spent a considerable amount of time watching the whales swimming around and frolicking in the water. It was a very exciting time for everyone!

After admiring the whales, we stopped to see a Steller Sea Lion posing for our camera near Race Rocks Ecological Reserve.

EVENING TOURS

We had two full evening sunset tours on our Zodiac boats. They were able to locate and observe more  Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whales. The weather was perfect!

After spending some time viewing the whales, we tracked down the lone Coastal Wolf, Taqaya. The wolf saw us and hurried off into the woods. It was an extra bit of excitement added to our evening tours. Sightings of the wolf are fairly rare.
