SEPTEMBER 10 2017 – Southern resident orcas today! We got a report in the early morning of orcas of the west side of San Juan island. That usually means resident orcas but this year have been so bad for resident sightings so you never know. The report paid of and we could see that it was the L4 matriline that was in. They spent the day west of San Juan fishing and socializing. Young L123 “Lazuli” was really playful, only 2 years old!
