January 26 2019 – It was a lovely calm day on the water today and Captain Ian headed west in search of wildlife. Today’s tour went all the way west as far as Sooke. There had been many sightings of Humpback Whales in this area lately but unfortunately none were sighted today.
Our guests did get some great shots and views of Harbour & Elephant Seals, Steller & California Sea Lions and of course lots of mature Bald Eagles. At this time of year there is also an array of marine birds in the area making this a bird watchers paradise 🙂
