February 15th 2018 – It was a calm, cool day as our Zodiac Strongtide sped out towards Lopez Island for a Marine Wildlife Tour. After enjoying the beautiful scenery and the resident bird life around the Island, our explorers headed for Race Rocks Ecological Reserve where they found lots of Harbour Seals and noisy California Sea Lions hauled out on the rocks. Their entertaining antics provided for great photo opportunities. Several Bald Eagles also took a curious look at our group during the tour, including a juvenile. Skipper Mark certainly got some great shots in the lovely calm weather.
