This morning we headed south and caught up with the T109A family of Bigg’s killer whales, hunting sea lions close to Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. The fog was very atmospheric, but soon cleared, allowing us to get great views of humpback whales as well. Later on we also saw some members of the T46B family – T46B2 (Akela), T46B2B (Takaya), and T46B6 (Sol).
