JULY 5 2017 – In the afternoon our tours caught up with a pod Bigg’s transient killer whales! They were traveling fast towards the west and kept going during our time with them. It was at least two different family groups coming together. We saw for sure the T073A’s and T035A’s, which means at least 7 individuals (4+3). On our way back we saw two humpback whales briefly and seals and eagles at Race Rocks. Our zodiacs also spotted GREY WHALES! A species that we don’t see that often.
