AUGUST 27 2017 – Another fine day out searching for whales and wildlife. Our zodiacs RipTide and FasTide went out on a morning tour and found orcas and humpbacks! The orcas were the transient family of T60’s heading southeast across the strait. In the afternoon our covered vessel found a mother and a calf humpback whale! It was a very special encounter following the pair as they headed west out in the strait. We also saw Dall’s porpoises in the afternoon.
