AUGUST 24 2017 – It was a windy day but we got treated with some excellent wildlife moments out in the strait. The morning tour started off with two transient orcas hunting close to shore. It was the T11’s, mother T11 and her adult son T11A. After we left the orcas we encountered several humpback whales out in the deeper waters. One did a massive tail-lob! Today’s highlight for the crew were the family of raccoons that visited the harbor before the afternoon tour. The young raccoon babies were adorable!
