JULY 11 2017 – A very nice morning and we could join up with a pod of Bigg’s transient orcas in the San Juan channel. We were extremely lucky and they made a kill right next to our boat and celebrated with breaches! In the afternoon we scouted the deeper waters and saw humpback whales (the orcas from the morning had moved away). At Race Rocks we saw seals and a sea otter.
