JULY 27, 2015 –  Today was a whale filled day in the strait of Juan de Fuca! We headed out for the morning trip and soon caught up with two humpback whales who decided to swim close to the boat as they were feeding! In the afternoon, we headed out west once more, arriving on scene near Beacher Bay where we found our Southern Resident Killer Whales! After a pass from a large male and a mom with her calf, we went to check out Race Rocks marine reserve, but couldn’t even make it that far without spotting another two humpback whales within a mile of the orcas! Overall an amazing day filled with our amazing whales!
