OCTOBER 4 2018 – The T123’s have a new calf T123D!! We heard news yesterday that the T123’s had been spotted further west and that they had a newborn calf with them. Today it was our turn to see the new orca baby! It should be given the name T123D since mother T123 already have had 3 offspring (T123A, T123B (deceased), T123C). The new calf was always seen right next to mother T123. Older brother T123A decided to stay out of the baby trouble and traveled a couple of hundred meters away. We say welcome to the new calf and wish that it survives the crucial first year of life.
