This morning, our boats journeyed up to Sidney Harbour to meet up with a group of Bigg’s Orca. Once we arrived on scene we were met with the familiar family of four, the T99’s. This family is frequently seen in the Salish Sea and is always a fan-favourite family. Mother, T99, was busy showing her youngsters how to hunt seals. All in all, they put on quite the show!
In the afternoon, our boats traveled west towards Race Rocks Ecological Reserve and watched two beautiful Humpback Whales. After spending ample time with the gentle giants, our boats checked out the wildlife at Race. Passengers got to spend time watching California, and Steller Sea Lions, Harbour Seals, and our local Sea Otter “Harry Otter”
