SEPTEMBER 13 2017 – Perfect weather and sea conditions today. Our morning zodiacs headed east and saw L pod from the southern resident orcas. On their way back they found a transient orca male, T49C a lone male. The afternoon tours quickly found T49C again and he was so much fun to follow. He made 2-3 kills and then started to celebrate in a kelp bed! At Race Rocks the sea lions were extra noisy and smelly today with harbor seals sleeping on the rocks next to them. September is a great time of year for whale watching!
