JUNE 16 2018 – We went out west today and managed to see both Bigg’s killer whales and Resident killer whales. In the morning our covered vessel Marauder had the pleasure of seeing the endangered southern resident killer whales. The were traveling along the coastline heading west. Sad to see them leave the inland waters already but with no salmon they need to move to other waters. Luckily we have the Bigg’s marine mammal eating killer whales to fill the gap the residents leave. Today we saw the T46B’s, always nice to see some of our “local” whales that we often encounters on our tours.
