March 22 2019 – Today skipper Mark, and his passengers spent quality time with our Southern Resident Killer Whales in Haro Strait
The SRKW are members of the salmon eating Orcas that can be found in the waters of the Salish Sea. Mark left Victoria Harbor and journeyed towards Kelp Reef with his passengers where they caught up with J-Pod. The Orca family members were originally spread out and foraging for fish. Before Mark and his passengers had to move on, they were treated to J-Pod all congregating in the same area and swimming together.
From there, Mark brought his passengers to Seabird Point Lighthouse where passengers got to spend some time watching some basking Steller Sea lions.
A fantastic marine mammal adventure!
