July 17, 2015 –  Today was another beautiful day on Haro Strait, as Marauder IV headed east towards San Juan Island. After a calm trip to the Island on glassy calm water, we reached our Southern Resident Orca Whales! The naturalists onboard identified orcas from two different pods, J and K pods, and many Orcas could be seen traveling along the Island in the distance. Guests were treated to an amazing view when one of the female Orcas breached 3 times in a row! As we were preparing to leave the whales, one of our largest male Orcas, Scoter, came past to give passengers a great view of his huge dorsal fin! Overall an amazing trip!
