OCTOBER 20 2017 – We left the harbor in a light drizzle of rain. It cleared further out but the occasional rain showers passed over us. That didn’t stop us from finding humpback whales around Race Rocks lighthouse! At least 6-8 individuals were feeding in the area. We got really close to a pair and one of them did a tail-throw next to the boat! On our way back we had several Stellar sea lions in the water and also many Bonapartes gulls.
