An amazing day on the Salish Sea with interesting behaviours! First we caught up with five year old humpback whale, Hammer, playing in some kelp. Then we briefly saw Zillion feeding in the tide lines. Afterwards, we encountered Vertigo flick feeding! This is where a humpback whale swishes the surfaces with their tail fluke, then lunges with their mouth open to catch the krill in the wave they just created! A visit to Race Rocks to see the sea lions and seals made for the perfect end to an incredible trip!
