Harry Otter Lounging

August 2, 2016 – It was a bit cloudier and cooler today than it has been over the last few weeks, but that did not stop us from having a great time on the water.  We were lucky enough to come across Humpback Whales on both our morning and afternoon trips. We got to see some breaching, pectoral fin slapping and even hear some trumpeting noises from the giants. Humpback Whales can reach up to 16 metres in length and weight up to 40 tonnes! It is always amazing to see them and realise just how big they are, especially compared to us, tiny humans.  We also visited Race Rocks Ecological Reserve and met up with Harry Otter, a cute little Sea Otter we get to see from time to time. He was wrapped up in some Bull Kelp, most likely taking a nap.

Our day was filled with excitement, whales and of course lots of happy guests.
