It’s been a beautiful week and the warm weather is here!

The morning tours were full of Seals and Sea Lions being charismatic as always. We bet they were enjoying sunning themselves on the rocks in the warm weather.

In the afternoon the calm waters were great for searching for whale blows (the puff you can see when they exhale at the surface of the water). Both our Marauder IV and zodiac Fastide were able to find a juvenile Gray Whale in Crescent Bay.

Gray Whales are making their annual migration north right now. It’s a great time to see them as they begin to feed in the colder waters around Vancouver Island. The whales are coming from the warm calving lagoons of Mexico heading to the feeding grounds in the Arctic.

Take a look at some pictures of the Gray Whale here and follow us on social media, like FacebookTwitter and Instagram, for more awesome wildlife photos and updates!
