JULY 24 2017 – We got to see a rare sight this morning not only were the orcas just outside Victoria harbor, also one of them was a lone male that visited us from California. We recognized him soon by the unique dorsal fin that has given him the name “Fatfin”, a famous orca down in California. A treat to see him here in British Columbia and a good example that these animals travels great distances! They the was very good with orcas on all tours and many families of Bigg’s transient orcas were around. A day to remember!
