AUGUST 7 2017 – We saw humpback whales breaching today, both in the morning and afternoon. Many humpback whales were found in the strait today. Even though the fog was thick from time to time we could find humpback whales out there! It was quite magical to watch the whales surrounded by thick fog, it created a surreal atmosphere. One whale decided to breach at least three times, fully out of the water. Unfortunate no photos since it happened so fast. We are looking forward to tomorrow and what it brings. Time for the orcas to make an appearance again, if you ask us! Even though the humpbacks are really putting on a show!
