August 26, 2016 – This morning our boats went east to San Juan Island to spend time with our Southern Resident Killer Whales. Our passengers got to enjoy watching them hunt for Chinook salmon and even got to see a baby Orca breach seven times! On the way back they stopped to try some delicious bull kelp.
In the afternoon, our boats travelled west stopping at Race Rocks to check out some noisy sea lions and seals, before continuing on south to see a Humpback whale and then further south to Port Angeles to catch up with two Transient Killer Whales! Such a special afternoon to see so many different species!
