APRIL 21 2017 – Amazing killer whales in calm waters and sunshine today! We got news of a big group of transient killer whales close to Stuart Island. When we caught up with the whales they were close to Turn Point Lighthouse traveling towards Boundary Pass. It was 11 individuals including one big male in the pod! We also saw both Harbor- and Dall´s porpoises on the trip. On our way back we stopped at Spieden Island and the Steller sea lions, one sea lion was eating a salmon that it had caught and throwing the fish around to tear bits off! Check out the amazing pictures from the tour.
