The “Hump” of a Humpback Whale

JUNE 27, 2016 – What a fantastic day we had with some humpback whales.  Our Captain and Skippers brought their excited passengers West in search of whales and wildlife. They soon caught up with a group of very active humpbacks. They were breaching over and over; a pretty rare thing for humpbacks to do. Due to their huge size, a breach uses up a lot of energy, so they must have been pretty happy about something!

Everyone also got to see plenty of other marine wildlife, such as seals and sea lions. It was a very successful day for us.
