Pair of Bald Eagles
Pair of Bald Eagles

FEB 2 2016 – Our Marine Wildlife Tour today was awesome! Captain Ian on our zodiac, StrongTide, headed out with an excited group of passengers in search of the spectacular marine wildlife that bless our beautiful shores and islands here. Ian decided to head out West today, and found some Harbour Seals pretty quickly out of the harbour. These guys seemed pretty sleep and lazy as they were just lounging on the rocks and weren’t moving much. But everyone got a great view of these cute animals! As they continued along the spectacular rocky coastline, more seals were spotted along with some amazingly large bald eagles soaring above. They even spotted a mating pair of bald eagles perched on a dead tree on the shore. Such a beautiful trip with a great glimpse of wintertime on Vancouver Island.
